We are seeking a Mine Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Superintendent, the Mine Technician provides drafting and data analysis support for engineering and mine operations.

This is a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotational position based in Geraldton, Ontario.

- Draft and update engineering plans.

- Manage data related to tramp metal, misfires, and other elements.

- Process and prepare survey data.

- Maintain accurate survey information and produce month-end volumes.

- Perform field verifications.

- Manage dig permits and infrastructure maps.

- Create and modify work procedures.

- Prepare presentations.

- Maintain accurate and complete records.

- Assist the drill and blast team with drill plans, loading instructions, and blast timing.

- Assist the field survey team as required.

Required Experience And Skill Set

- Strong commitment to safety.

- Proficiency in CAD software; Deswik preferred.

- Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office suite.

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; French is an asset.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

- Mining Technician Diploma, a related degree program, or sufficient relevant experience.

- Experience with survey equipment and techniques.

- Experience in open pit mining; hard-rock gold mining is preferred.

The salary range for this position is from $85,024.00 to $103,918.40.
