Role Definition
This role will manage a team that oversees the order to delivery supply chain to ensure availability of necessary commodities to support manufacturing or distribution. The Supply Chain Value Stream Manager will have accountability for the purchased parts schedule, quality, and inventory levels of the service parts business. They are responsible for leading and facilitating service parts growth initiatives that tie to the supply chain function. The value stream manager also is a critical part of driving the supply chain improvement strategy and will be leading anywhere from 6 to 8 SCCs and 2 STEs outside of San Diego.
This role reports up to the Supply Chain Area Manager for the Package Global Supply Chain Organization.

Problem Solving, Analytical thinking, and Risk Assessment: Applies structured thinking to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Uses data-driven analysis to evaluate alternatives and assess potential risks, ensuring decisions are both innovative and grounded in evidence.
Business Process Improvement and Project Management: Leads initiatives and creates a framework for others to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or DMEDI.
Enterprise Thinking and Global Perspective: Understands the broader organizational ecosystem and how decisions impact other functions, regions, and stakeholders. Demonstrates awareness of global trends, cultural nuances, and regulatory environments, applying this knowledge to drive globally relevant strategies.
Talent Development and Recruiting: Identifies and cultivates high-potential talent through mentoring, coaching, and structured development plans. Partners with HR to attract diverse candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational values and future capability needs.
Data Analytics: A strong technical understanding of how to gather, manipulate, and analyze large and complex data sets from various sources.
A degree and 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, or in lieu of a degree 10+ years of functional experience in a similar role
