Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain process, with a strong focus on procurement, inventory management, distribution, and customer service. This role plays a critical part in supplier negotiations, inventory optimization, and profitability enhancement while ensuring data accuracy to drive operational efficiency and support business growth.
SUPPLY CHAIN STRATEGY & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
•Actively manage parts inventory to increase turnover, minimize obsolescence, and ensure availability across all BEC service center locations
•Develop and implement strategic solutions for slower-moving inventory
•Work closely with Division and Product Managers to negotiate with parts suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency, optimal stock levels, and product availability
•Partner with the Finance leadership to develop and oversee a cycle count program, identifying and addressing the root cause of inventory discrepancies to improve operational efficiency
•Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all parts-related data in Netsuite, maintaining real-time inventory visibility and reducing errors in procurement and order management
•Collaborate with Finance, Service Management, Division/Product Management to ensure alignment between supply chain activities and overall business objectives
FINANCIAL STRATEGY & PROFITABILITY OPTIMIZATION
•Reduce service center spend as a percentage of service revenue without compromising safety and operational efficiency
•Conduct market research and price analysis to identify opportunities for improving parts margins and optimizing pricing strategies based on market demand and competition
•Work with suppliers and internal teams to identify creative ways to increase parts profitability, including new part offerings and targeted pricing adjustments
•Collaborate with Finance and Service Management to create a quarterly KPI dashboard, tracking key metrics such as parts margin %, parts availability, inventory turnover and cost reductions and efficiency improvements
•SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMIZATION & REVENUE GROWTH
•Optimize inventory and procurement strategies to ensure BEC’S service centers have the right parts, minimizing downtime for customers
•Leverage competitive price intelligence to develop customer-friendly yet profitable pricing models that align with market trends and customer demands
•Work with service center teams to align inventory management with customer needs and repair cycles, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
•Identify opportunities for expanding product offerings to better serve customer demands and drive sales growth
•Effectively engage with suppliers/vendors to negotiate pricing that is both competitive and profitable, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining strong vendor relationships

•Communicate effectively with internal teams to enhance understanding of inventory best practices, cost control, and supplier relations, ensuring operational alignment and efficiency
•Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies, suggesting innovative ideas, and implementing process enhancements
•Serve as a liaison between departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enhancing cross-functional collaboration

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
•Proven ability to analyze complex supply chain challenges, develop strategic solutions, and drive operational efficiency through proactive decision-making
•Data-driven mindset with experience in KPI analysis, demand forecasting, and continuous performance improvement to drive measurable business results
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, working hands-on with ERP systems (such as NetSuite) and with related data required
•Exceptional communicator specialized and skilled in negotiating with suppliers, collaborating with manufacturers, and aligning cross-functional teams to drive supply chain efficiency, enhance supplier relationships, and optimize pricing strategies that support company objectives
•Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team with a results-driven approach, fostering a collaborative and high performing culture built on trust, innovation and accountability
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
•Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
•4+ years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role
•Proven expertise in inventory management, procurement, pricing strategies, and vendor negotiations
•Proven leadership abilities in team building, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration, fostering high-performance and solution-oriented work environments
