We are a leading manufacturer of high-quality aluminum, steel, and vinyl fencing systems serving contractors, distributors, and commercial clients nationwide. With expanding domestic operations and robust supply partnerships, we are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to optimize, scale, and lead our procurement and logistics strategy.
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager will oversee purchasing, vendor management, inventory planning, and inbound/outbound logistics across multiple product lines and distribution points. The ideal candidate will drive cost-effective sourcing while ensuring alignment with production schedules, sales forecasts, quality standards, and customer fulfillment targets.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead the end-to-end supply chain for aluminum, steel, and vinyl products from sourcing to delivery.
•Manage vendor relationships and conduct pricing, delivery, and quality negotiations.
•Forecast material needs in alignment with MRP and production schedules.
•Monitor inventory levels, cycle counts, lead times, and reorder points using ERP systems (preferably xTuple or similar).
•Coordinate import compliance, customs documentation, and tariff classifications.
•Collaborate with the logistics team, ensuring timely shipping, freight cost control, and performance tracking.
•Analyze KPIs (inventory turnover, supplier OTIF, freight costs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
•Collaborate with production, purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
•3+ years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing/import environment.
•Strong understanding of metal and vinyl supply markets (domestic & global).
•Proven track record with import logistics, vendor negotiations, and ERP-based inventory control.
•Excellent organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
•Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems, MS
•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
