POSITION SUMMARY:
Marathon Petroleum Company LP has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager responsible for overseeing the contractor strategies of the construction, turnaround, maintenance, HES and operations workstreams at Los Angeles Refining Division (LAR). The successful candidate will develop the strategic direction of assigned categories, drive growth and value in commercials, champion continuous improvement in our function and operations, and build and inspire a team of five (5) direct reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelors degree required. Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or similar discipline preferred.
- Six (6) or more years’ business relevant experience. Supply Chain Management experience preferred.
<10% travel anticipated.- Experience in Refining Operations and Industrial Contractor Services is highly preferred.
