This position will provide mechanical maintenance support for the site. Position will perform welding, steel fabrication, pipe fitting, millwright, rigging, pump rebuilding and other general mechanical troubleshooting tasks. Position is responsible for individual safety as well as the safety of others working in the area.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Adhere to Safety, Health and Environmental (SH&E) policies and procedures. Responsible for the completion of Hot Work, Line Break, Lock, Tag & Try, contractor work permits and other SH&E permits. Maintain a questioning attitude to ensure a safe work environment. Lead and facilitate the development and implementation of training and other programs and activities necessary to ensure facility SH&E compliance.

- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions. Complete necessary forms, charts, etc. to document the process. Respond appropriately to process variations.

- Ability to safely work with hazardous materials.

- Daily inspection of equipment. Troubleshoot equipment as needed and perform preventative maintenance.
```
- Ability to work in a team environment and move to where the work is required. Train co-workers on job tasks as required.
```
- Perform housekeeping and 5S. Operate forklift and other motorized transportation equipment as necessary.
```

- Communicate the status of the operation to the shift following. Report to work station on time in order to receive operation status from previous shift.

- Participate in safety efforts (VPP, JHAs, etc.) and CIP teams
