A Maintenance Mechanic repairs equipment, fabricate parts and maintain parts inventory associated with all equipment.
- Make necessary repairs to all equipment when needed
- Fabricate parts and structures for machinery and equipment
- Operate metalworking machinery that will include and not limited to: band saw, lathe and welder.
- Count and maintain spare parts inventory
- Source parts when needed and follow mandated purchase order requirements
- Work with outside contractors when required.
- Must have mechanical knowledge with regards to motors, bearings, and gears.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and power requirements.
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Knowledge of proper safety requirements
- Basic computer skills
