Logistics& Shipping Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Coordinator to oversee the shipping and receiving processes within our Company. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and a strong understanding of logistics, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and providing excellent service to our customers. Pay is based on experience.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage all shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of products.

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, shipments, and order fulfillment.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including MRP documentation.

- Facilitate communication between production, sales and distribution stages to promote an efficient and proper movement of shipments to contribute to the success of the company.

- Must be able to professionally communicate with shippers to provide rates, assist with various routine tasks.

- Work closely with company's LTL freight & small parcel shipments while being able to ensure accuracy of the order & shipping documents.

- Must be able to multitask and identify and fix and shipping errors before the product leaves the facility.

- Professionally communicate with customers on a timeline of delivery of our products.

- Must be a team player.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes.

- Basic math skills for accurate inventory tracking and order processing.

- Familiarity with ERP-Rootstock systems is a plus.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
