We are seeking anexperienced and dynamic Lift Maintenance and Operations Supervisor to lead safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Mighty Argo Cable Car system. You’ll guide a team of skilled Lift Mechanics and Lift Operator Attendants, championing a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement while maintaining the highest standards of operational readiness and guest service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for mountain operations and a proven background in aerial or tramway lift systems within tourism, ski, or resort environments.

- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, inspection logs, and compliance reports for CPTSB and ANSI B77.1 requirements.

- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and inventory controls to ensure accurate tracking of procurement, work orders, tools, spare parts, and supplies, supporting uninterrupted and safe lift operations.

- Coordinate and supervise all scheduled maintenance, annual load testing, tower inspections, haul rope assessments, major inspections, and other required technical evaluations, ensuring full compliance with CPTSB requirements.

- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of required service intervals and documentation.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing on-site leadership for urgent repairs and operational disruptions.

- Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely repairs and minimal downtime.

- Work closely with teams and contractors to plan and execute capital improvement projects, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.

- Develop and enforce safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, maintenance standards, emergency response plans, and policies related to weather closures, load/unload procedures, and guest behaviors.

- Conduct daily safety briefings, regular safety meetings, training sessions, drills, audits, inspections, and operational checklist reviews to reinforce best practices, ensure operational readiness, maintain compliance, and verify staff competency.

- Perform risk assessments and maintain a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards, equipment failures, mechanical risks, and environmental hazards.

- Partner with risk management and operations leadership to investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

- Coordinate closely with the General Manager, the Lift and Facilities Manager, and the Lift team on mechanical checks, incident response, and operational shutdowns.

Team Leadership & Development
