Lead Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Welder and Fabricator to perform welding and fabrication tasks on piping systems and structural components. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and proficient in various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform high-quality welding on pipes and structural components using processes such as TIG, MIG, Stick, or Flux-Core.

- Fabricate, assemble, and install piping systems according to specifications and industry standards.

- Inspect welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder and Fabricator.

- Proficiency in TIG, MIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Core welding processes.

- Ability to read and interpret schematics.

- Knowledge of piping materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, alloys).

- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME, or API) is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with pipe fitting and layout.

- Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.

- Knowledge of ASME, API, or AWS codes and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $28.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
