Lead Fabricator/ Certified Welder

Key Responsibilities

- Fabrication & Welding: Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel components according to prints and specifications.

- Blueprint Reading & Layout: Accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and job packets to set up and layout jobs independently.

- Job Leadership: Take ownership of assigned projects, directing workflow to ensure jobs stay on schedule and meet quality standards.

- Production Support: Keep jobs moving through the shop by anticipating needs, collaborating with coworkers, and maintaining pace.

- Safety & Quality: Follow OSHA and company safety standards, ensuring all work meets required tolerances and inspection criteria.

- Equipment & Tools: Safely operate fabrication tools such as plasma cutters, saws, drills, grinders, and overhead cranes.

- Communication: Coordinate with project managers, inside sales, and shop personnel to ensure clear understanding of job requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
