Welder/Fabricator

Job description:

Northedge Steel, a steel manufacturing company, is currently seeking skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. Prior welding and fabrication experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:

- Perform welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

- Utilize welding equipment and tools to assemble and weld square tubes for premanufactured buildings.

- Fabricate components and structures using various metalworking techniques, such as cutting, bending, and shaping.

- Inspect completed welds and fabricated structures for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.

- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

- Maintain welding and fabrication equipment and tools, reporting any malfunctions or damage to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator is a plus but not required. Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in welding and fabrication are also encouraged to apply.

- Basic knowledge of metal fabrication processes, such as cutting, bending, and shaping.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding and fabrication-related issues.

- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding and fabrication tasks and work in various positions.

- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
