Lead Material Handler

Studco is looking for experienced Team Material Handler to join 2nd shift (3:15pm-11:45pm) team!

*2nd shift has a 10% night shift premium

Lead Material Handler Main Activities:

- MUST POSSESS SIT DOWN PROPANE FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE

- Perform daily inspections/maintenance on forklifts; report any damage or problems to the Production Supervisor/Team Lead.

- Transport raw material to work cells for manufacturing

- Transport and dump scrap, as required.

- Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to manufacturing details and customer/ supplier details.

- Work safely, in accordance with Company Safety Policy.

- Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Includes any uniforms, if supplied.

- Performs other related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor

- Lead and support a team of material handlers in daily warehouse and production support activities

- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements

- Train and mentor new and existing material handlers

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
