Responsibilities of the Position Include:

- Reports directly to the Quality Supervisor.

- Verifies that manufactured and purchased parts conform to drawings utilizing laser trackers and CMM arms.

- Provides subassembly personnel with dimensional data when adjustments are required to meet final dimensional requirements.

- Provide layouts and assistance with fitting on requested assemblies.

- Verifies that final assemblies meet dimensional requirements specified by drawings.

- Create programs for Laser Tracker from part drawings and CAD models.

- Create dimensional inspection reports from gathered data and document any non-conformance.

- Working knowledge of AS 9100 and ISO 9001 requirements.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

- 2-3 Years’ Experience

- Must have at least 1 years’ experience using Spatial Analyzer

- Must have a good knowledge of inspection methods, procedures, equipment, and layouts

- Must have a good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

- Must have good technical communication skills

- Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time

- Willing to work in excess of 40 hours a week

- High school or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

Prefer technical education, machining experience, or technical on the job training/ PCMM and survey equipment.
