We are currently seeking a Groundskeeper that wants to grow with S+S and be a part of our team!

The Landscaper is responsible for performing a variety of landscape maintenance and installation tasks to ensure outdoor areas are attractive, safe, and well-maintained. This position also includes responsibilities for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop and equipment areas.

MUST have at least 2 years of Groundskeeping experience

Responsibilities: (Duties include, but are not limited to)

- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).

- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding

- Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on landscaping tools and vehicles

- Assist in keeping the yard and storage areas neat, safe, and free of debris

- Maintaining general appearance of lawn, plants and trees

- Maintain shop floors and work areas clean

- Empty shop trash, clean equipment, and organize tools and supplies

- Communicating with immediate Supervisor or Plant Manager to report when repairs are needed for any landscaping equipment

- Follow safety guidelines and maintain awareness of surroundings on job sites

- Willingness to learn new tasks and perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor

Physical Requirements:

- The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly

- The ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally (as needed)

- The ability to stand and/or walk a minimum of 8 hours per day

Compensation: Depending on experience
