Landscaper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our outdoor maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty and functionality of residential and commercial landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and the use of various tools and equipment to deliver high-quality results. The Landscaper will work outdoors in various weather conditions, contributing to the creation and upkeep of attractive outdoor spaces.

Duties

- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control to ensure healthy and attractive lawns

- Maintain landscapes through planting, pruning, tree care, and trimming to promote plant health and aesthetic appeal

- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for landscape installation and construction projects

- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns

- Execute hardscape projects including patio installation, walkway construction, and retaining wall setup

- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible

- Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, inspection, and minor repairs to ensure operational efficiency

- Assist with gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees in accordance with landscape design plans

- Support tree care activities including trimming, removal, and health assessments

- Collaborate with team members on larger projects involving construction or landscape redesigns

Requirements

- Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work is preferred

- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators is highly desirable

- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques

- Ability to operate equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and snow plows safely and effectively

- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair is a plus

- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Valid driver’s license preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs

- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently during all tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
