How You'll Make An Impact

The position is primarily responsible for testing raw materials, blend samples and production samples to ensure they meet the specification. The position will also support the Quality Coordinator in calculating corrections. You will be working with laboratory equipment and interface with the plant management/production teams.

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am to 3pm, Friday 6am to 10am Responsibilities Include

- Daily testing samples of raw materials, blend samples and production samples

- Daily sample data entry

- Support with equipment calibrations, general preventive maintenance and cleaning of the lab

- Other tasks as determined by the Quality Coordinator

- Must operate in an ISO 9001 and Responsible Care 140001 certified facility. Also support the 5S culture

What You’ll Need

- Associates Degree with a Science focus is required

- Bachelors of Science is a plus

- 2 years experience in a lab environment. Plus if experience is in a manufacturing facility

- Attention to detail, organization, follow through

- SAP experience is a plus

- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift, standing, climbing stairs

- Ability to travel up to 20% to other locations
