Lab Technician

OBJECTIVE:

The Lab Technician is responsible for conducting lab tests that include cement and oilfield chemicals by following standard lab testing procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow testing procedures and methods

· Maintain a safe and clean laboratory

· Operate standard laboratory instructions

· Prepare mixtures for analysis

· Assist the team on projects as necessary

· Prioritize and complete all tasks assigned to you by your supervisor

· Ensure all chemicals are stored properly

· Maintain chemical inventory

· Calculate concentrations and mix test fluids

EXPERIENCE:

- PEC Safeland USA Certification Desired, but NOT required

- High School Diploma OR Equivalent
