Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.

- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for roofing installation, including setup and material handling.

- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and using proper personal protective equipment at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Journeyman Roofer or in a similar construction trade role with a focus on commercial roofing projects.

- Extensive knowledge of roofing materials such as membrane roofs (TPO,EPDM,PVC, and Hypalon), built-up roofs (BUR), and other commercial systems.

- Understand manufacturer requirements for screw patterns, membrane welding and flashing.

- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, heavy lifting techniques, and safety procedures on construction sites.

- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.

Experience:

- Commercial Roofing: 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

- Drivers License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (Preferred)
