Description:
The IT Coordinator, at the Corporate Level, is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Force's IT systems by providing technical support, managing IT infrastructure, and coordinating technology-related projects. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network security, and ensuring the efficient use of IT resources. The IT Coordinator will also collaborate with various departments to improve technological efficiency and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures. The IT Coordinator reports to the Corporate Systems Manager.
i. Technical Support and Troubleshooting
•Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
•Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
•Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for advanced technical support when necessary.
ii. IT Infrastructure and Systems Management
•Maintain and update IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networks, and software applications.
•Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption.
•Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
•Monitor system performance and optimize IT resources.
iii. Project Coordination and IT Planning
•Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
•Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
•Manage IT assets, including procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management.
iv. User Training & Compliance
•Provide training to employees on IT best practices, cybersecurity awareness, and software applications.
•Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulations, and data protection laws.
•Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Recent experience with QHSE programs – 3 years to 5 years.
•Job-related experience – Minimum 5 year
•2+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), networking, and security protocols.
•Familiarity with IT asset management, cloud services, and enterprise software.
