This role is responsible for managing servers, hardware, network equipment, building security, and enterprise software—including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (with API integration)—while driving digital transformation through advanced Power BI reporting, automation, and strategic IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Resource Planning & Software Systems:

Manage and optimize operations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central*, with a focus on leveraging its manufacturing modules, inventory management, sales, finance and supply chain integration.

Ensure seamless integration with external systems via Business Central API, enabling efficient data exchange and process automation.

Advanced Data Analytics & Reporting:

Utilize in-depth Power BI knowledge to design, develop, and maintain complex dashboards and reports that transform raw operational, finance and sales data into actionable insights.
Integrate multiple data sources, perform advanced data modeling, and ensure that KPIs and performance metrics are communicated clearly to key stakeholders.

Programming & Automation:

Provide hands-on programming expertise (using languages such as Python, Java, C#, SQL, or other relevant tools) to develop automation solutions that improve efficiency.
Manage and enhance barcode label software systems for inventory, production, and sales tracking.

Project & Vendor Management:

Lead end-to-end IT projects in manufacturing environments—from concept to implementation—addressing areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and industrial automation initiatives.
Manage IT budgets, allocate resources, maintain vendor relationships, and evaluate emerging technologies that align with best industry practices and operational excellence.

Compliance & Best Practices:

Ensure IT operations align with industry standards and regulatory requirements (such as ISO 9001 for quality and ISO 14001 for environmental management) to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity and disaster recovery protocols, with special attention to integrating IT and operational technology (OT) standards.

IT Infrastructure and Security

Manage and maintain servers, hardware, network equipment, and building security systems to ensure a stable and secure IT environment.
Develop, implement, and monitor cybersecurity policies, backup, and disaster recovery protocols.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:

Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a dynamic IT team skilled in both enterprise IT and manufacturing-specific technologies.
Collaborate closely with other stakeholders to ensure IT initiatives effectively support sales, finance and operational needs and drive innovation.

Requirements

Education & Certifications:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Certifications: Relevant certifications are preferred (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar IT management credentials).

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT management or a related role, ideally within a multi-disciplinary environment that includes manufacturing, sales, and finance.
Demonstrated management of IT infrastructure (servers, hardware, network equipment, building security) and enterprise software systems.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional IT projects and managing vendor relationships.
