We are seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to join our team. The IT Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our IT infrastructure, ensuring that it aligns with the organization's goals and supports our operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing IT policies and strategies that uphold cybersecurity and data protection standards. The IT Manager will be pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance our service capabilities and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
•Lead the IT department, providing guidance and support to team members.
•Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization.
•Oversee the maintenance, enhancement, and security of the IT infrastructure and systems.
•Plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
•Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
•Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their technology needs and challenges.
•Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to IT security and data protection.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
•Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
•Experience with project management methodologies and tools to deliver successful IT projects.
•3-5 years managing Windows and Linux servers, as well as managing an Active Directory environment.
•Previous experience working with hypervisors such as VMWare or ProxMox.
•3 years managing backup solutions.
•Previous experience utilizing/managing Vista is preferred.
•Previous experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible or Python preferred but not required.
•Previous experience with SQL preferred but not required.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a attention to detail.
•Effective communication skills, able to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
