Inventory Materials Specialist

Basic Function

HF Sinclair is seeking a Inventory Material Specialist in Artesia,NM who will be responsible to assist Supervisor in leading and controlling activities of the company warehouse, tool room and personnel. Responsible for management of remote warehouse facility. Ensure shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed in an efficient manner.

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from time to time at their sole and complete discretion.

A minimum of three years of job related experience in a similar environment, preferrably in Accounting.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, is required.

Previous supervisory experience, knowledge of material handling equipment. Transportation management, computerized inventory control and distribution/warehouse operations. Intermediate leadership, interpersonal, organization and written/oral communication skills. Ability to handle special projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

Responsible for providing work leadership to approximately five (5) employees and direct supervision to one (1) warehouse employee.

Work Conditions

Office, Warehouse and yards-based with periodic night, weekend, and holiday call out.
