Inventory Control Specialist

Lannon Tank Company (LTC) has a full-time Inventory Control Specialist position currently available. This position is an integral part of the production process of our specialized industrial storage tanks for customers throughout the fuel, oil & gas, aggregate, transportation, energy and petrochemical storage tank industry.

Job Description

This position here at Lannon Tank is a hands-on position that has potential growth opportunities that could add responsibilities within production, purchasing or quality areas of the business. This person would have responsibility to maintain inventory locations, counts and levels, working with purchasing to ensure adequate supplies. This person would also be responsible in issuing of consumable supplies, small tools and other related materials to the production team. Would be performing packaging, receiving parts, steel sheet, plate, other raw materials and production consumables. Forklift driving is a must! Assisting in and doing the unloading or unpacking it, marking it with codes to be identified, stocking shelves, kitting for jobs, cycle counting and other related inventory functions. Works in stockroom and other areas of the manufacturing process as required. May involve some heavy lifting, forklift driving, and other general duties as needed. Computer skills and experience with an ERP system is a must!

- Multi-tasking, flexibility and willing to learn are critical to this role.

- Requires reading bills of materials, visual part identification and inspection

- Good recording keep for consumable allocations and stock levels

- Responsible, independent individual, you must be able to read and understand both verbal and written instructions.

- Follow all safety rules and company guidelines.
