Construction Inventory Specialist

Here at Master Millwork, we specialize in high-end custom millwork projects for Senior Living, Multi-Unit Apartments & Hotels throughout the Greater Boston Area and New England. We also provide high-end architectural millwork design packages for Restaurants, Nightclubs, Libraries and Schools. Master Millwork is built on integrity and our reputation. Requirements

-Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role

-Strong organizational skills

-Ability and willingness to learn industry specific skills

-Ability to prioritize across multiple tasks

-Proclivity to follow up on and track issues, shipments, and loose ends.

-Ability to work 40 hours per week, 7am to 3:30pm MON-FRI

-Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats

-Driver’s license and clean driving record a plus

-Experience reading and interpreting construction documents a plus.

Responsibilities

-Track and receive all incoming shipments

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of our stock room

-Adapt and grow our inventory system to meet changing and growing needs

-Maintain our computerized inventory control system, balancing picked material against current inventory, and ordering re-supplies when material runs low

-Entering new SKUs and materials into our inventory system when needed

-Order and track a broad range of materials through our vendors and suppliers, both recurring and one-off orders.

-Seek out new vendors and suppliers to diversify our supply chain

-Shop and compare prices on materials to minimize cost

-Perform take-offs and order material based on construction
