What does an Inventory Specialist do for us?
This individual works independently to administer and manage the Asset Suite Materials Catalog. They develop the guidelines utilized in maintaining the integrity of the information in the catalog. They research and evaluate data in making key decisions on the operation and function of the catalog. They promote to users and other stakeholders the importance of maintaining a clean and accurate inventory catalog to help optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory control processes. This position is a control performer for SOX controls relating to the materials catalog including changes to average unit price and setting a catalog ID to ready status. The Inventory Specialist supports Inventory Analysts, Material Services, Procurement, and other internal business partners. Additionally, the Inventory Specialist coordinates transfers out of the Distribution Center to satellite facilities by reviewing, modifying, scheduling, and printing for delivery in accordance with the truck schedule.

3 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing or related field, including* 2 years of experience in data collection, analysis, and report development
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
