JOB TITLE: Inventory & Logistics Manager COMPENSATION: DOE

The Inventory & Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of Receiving, Production Control, Shipping, and Purchasing operations. This role has end-to-end responsibility for procuring, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, issuing schedules, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
This position combines warehouse leadership with office-based responsibilities, including regulatory compliance, documentation, permitting coordination, systems improvement, and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in building scalable inventory and logistics processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage operational performance against key KPIs, including:
- Inventory accuracy
- Material utilization rates
- Picking accuracy and efficiency
- Oversee all daily Receiving, Production Control, Shipping, and Purchasing activities through managers and/or supervisors
- Organize and optimize the storage and distribution of inventory across warehouse locations
- Ensure inventory is consumed at expected rates and variances are identified and addressed
- Establish and maintain inventory control procedures aligned with company inventory turn goals
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and audit procedures
- Design, implement, and maintain standardized inventory management processes
- Partner with leadership to standardize vehicle restocking and mobilization practices to reduce supply house runs and warehouse downtime
- Develop scalable training programs to ensure warehouse staff are consistently trained as processes, standards, or systems change
- Implement a data-centric continuous improvement framework to identify defects, exceptions, and drive accountability
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory, logistics, and IT systems; collaborate with digital and operations teams to prioritize initiatives
- Analyze shipping performance to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time; implement corrective actions as needed
- Analyze receiving performance to ensure purchase orders are received and put away promptly
- Coordinate with supply chain partners to identify opportunities to centralize procurement and improve purchasing efficiency
- Ensure all operations comply with applicable regulatory and safety requirements, including OSHA, EPA, ISO, EEO, and other relevant standards
- Support permitting, inspections, and regulatory documentation as required for warehouse and logistics operations
- Support operational needs through occasional permit running and coordination with local agencies or internal teams, as required
- Create, maintain, and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and standard operating documentation
- Coordinate with other departments (Operations, Field Teams, Finance, IT, HR) to support business objectives and operational alignment
- Proficiency with inventory management software, databases, and warehouse systems
- Familiarity with modern warehouse practices, logistics methods, and inventory controls
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive accountability through KPIs and data
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements
