The Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurate reporting and reconciling of inventory from receiving through shipping. Working closely with the Manufacturing and Accounting departments, this position requires someone with good analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. Experience with metal manufacturing is preferred.
- Allocate all precious metal jewelry components to Work Orders and deliver to next responsible person.
- Physically record the receipt of all precious metal components and finished goods, ensuring Work Order receipts are accurate and closed in JMAS.
- Handle all jewelry scrap from Work Orders, physically and in JMAS.
- Physically prepare finished goods for shipment by fulfilling Acknowledgments.
- Weigh necessary finished goods, scrap, and any returned material, recording in JMAS. Distribute to planner or assimilate into inventory.
- Create scrap Work Orders for turnings when grey bins are turned in. Once spun and being weighed for a melt, receive weight of turnings on scrap Work Order. Update Vault Turnings spreadsheet.
- Consolidate and load all precious metal into vault at end of day.
