Specialist, Inventory
The goal of the Specialist, Inventory is to execute, coordinate, and support the business by establishing, maintaining, and optimizing our global inventory system. At this level, the job holder is familiar with all Inventory tasks and is able to perform them with little guidance. Proactively reports on the status of his/her work and provides feedback as needed.
Job Overview
1. Ensure provision of internal project parts (CAPEX, other) to preparation teams/ staging areas accordance with project schedules 25%
2. Confirms material deliveries from other regions or suppliers by executing goods receipt postings in the ERP-System and delivers material to target location 25%
3. Coordinates and executes inventory optimization and permanent inventory count 15%
4. Executes loading and unloading of goods 15%
5. Maintain oversight of incoming items from different global locations to consolidate and resolve related issues 10%
6. Supports execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECO), internal manufacturing, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) 5%
7. Executes packaging & declaration of Dangerous Goods 5% Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with warehouse operations is required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Inventory role is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with production and manufacturing processes and techniques is required
- Possesses degree of independence in executing tasks
- Requires little guidance in executing tasks
- Has basic experience in creating appropriate documentation and driving continuous improvement processes
- Experience in an international and culturally diverse environment is preferred
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English as well as the local language
- A vocational training, apprenticeship or similar education in warehouse operations or related field is required
- Certification to operate forklifts and overhead cranes is required
- Experience with load securing methods is required
- Certification in transportation of dangerous goods (ground, ocean, and air) is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Basic knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) Program + PDM system (e.g. Pro.File)- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Intermediate knowledge of data management, content management and workflow Program (e.g. Sharepoint)
- Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Navision, SAP) 2.5
