Under the direction of Materials Manager, be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory within the organization. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the accurate receipt and inspection of incoming goods, verifying shipments, recording discrepancies, ensuring products are stored appropriately, and tracking stock levels. As well as collaborating closely with various departments to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and maintain optimal stock availability to meet customer demands. Key Responsibilities
a. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for all products.
b. Conduct routine physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
c. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
d. Ensure accurate recording of received quantities in the inventory management system.
e. Assist with the organization and storage of products with the facility.
a. Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against packing lists, purchase orders, and other relevant documents.
b. Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate parties.
c. Process returns due to incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
a. Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) and other rotation strategies to minimize expired or obsolete inventory.
a. Maintain accurate records of received goods, including inspection reports, packing lists, and delivery receipts.
b. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and variances.
c. Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other key performance indicators.
d. Generate and update reports related to receiving activities.
a. Conduct quality checks on received products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
a. Liaise with procurement with other relevant departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments.
b. Present biyearly stock level and cycle count accuracy summary.
c. Work closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations and fulfillment.

a. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks (when applicable).

b. Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
c. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
· Proven experience in inventory management or related roles.
· Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment (preferred).
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in receiving operations.
· Ability to lift and move heavy objects and operate material handling equipment (if applicable).
· Time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Hourly Range: $20 per hour to start, DOE
