Intern - Technical Program Manager, Distributed Intelligence (Summer 2026)

As a Technical Program Manager Intern, you will support cross-functional teams in planning, executing, and delivering technical projects that drive innovation and operational excellence. This internship offers hands-on experience in program management, stakeholder engagement, and technical problem-solving within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

40 hours per week during summer 2026. The target start is May/June, and the internship concludes August/September, depending on student's academic schedule.

- Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives

- Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, risk assessments, and resource plans

- Facilitate communication between engineering, product, and business teams

- Track progress and report status updates to stakeholders

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

- Help identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

- Document project learnings and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts

Required Skills & Experience

- Education: enrolled in an accredited and related Associates, Bachelors or Masters degree program (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Process Management or related)

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail

- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps Services or Microsoft Project

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Technical background or coursework in software development or systems engineering

- Experience in stakeholder management or cross-functional collaboration

- Exposure to cloud technologies, data analytics, or enterprise software platforms

- Exposure to software developments and frameworks

Travel:

This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

This position will be tied to our Raleigh, NC location with hybrid work flexibility of 1-3 days on-site per week.
