About This Job

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading regional commercial strategy and revenue growth for INTEGRA™ Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) and Tubular Running Services (TRS) across the Permian Basin.

This role serves as the senior commercial leader and primary customer interface for designated strategic accounts, with accountability for opportunity development, pipeline management, pricing strategy, and long‑term customer relationships. The Sales Manager works closely with Operations, Business Development, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment between customer needs, service delivery, and Nabors’ growth objectives.

The role requires strong field presence, deep understanding of drilling operations, and demonstrated leadership in oilfield services sales.


- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 10+ years of oilfield experience with significant drilling operations exposure. - 5+ years of progressive oilfield sales, business development, or commercial leadership experience.

- Demonstrated success managing strategic accounts and complex service sales.

- Strong technical understanding of drilling operations, MPD, TRS, or related drilling technologies.

- Proven ability to lead commercial discussions, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.

- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Permian Basin.

- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Midland/Odessa, Texas.



Strategic Account & Customer Leadership

- Own and manage strategic operator relationships across the Permian Basin, including executive‑level customer engagement.

- Serve as the primary commercial lead for assigned key accounts, responsible for long‑term growth, contract positioning, and customer satisfaction.

- Maintain a strong field presence at customer offices, rig sites, and operational locations to stay closely aligned with customer plans and execution.

- Engage drilling engineers, superintendents, completions teams, and rig management to identify upcoming programs and value‑driven solutions.

Sales & Commercial Strategy Execution

- Drive regional revenue growth for INTEGRA MPD and TRS across Nabors‑owned and third‑party rigs.

- Lead early‑stage customer engagement during well planning cycles to position Nabors technologies and integrated service offerings.

- Develop and execute regional account strategies, opportunity pipelines, and sales plans aligned with business targets.

- Lead and support pricing strategy, commercial terms, and contract negotiations in coordination with Business Development and Legal.

- Deliver executive‑level customer presentations highlighting technical differentiation, performance results, and economic value.

Market Intelligence & Opportunity Development

- Monitor operator budgets, drilling activity, rig movements, and competitive positioning across the Permian Basin.

- Translate market intelligence into actionable commercial strategies and communicate insights to leadership, product, and operations teams.

- Identify new market entry points, emerging customers, and cross‑service opportunities for MPD, TRS, and adjacent solutions.

Operational Alignment & Service Excellence

- Partner closely with MPD and TRS operational leadership to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.

- Act as the escalation point for commercial and customer issues, coordinating resolutions between customers and operations.

- Provide structured field feedback to Product Management and Engineering to support service enhancement and technology development.

CRM, Forecasting & Commercial Reporting

- Own regional opportunity tracking, pipeline forecasting, and revenue reporting in Salesforce.

- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of:

- Customer accounts and contacts

- Active and future opportunities

- Competitive intelligence

- Rig and program activity

- Provide regular pipeline and forecast updates to business and executive leadership.

Leadership Expectations (Sales Manager Level)

- Operate as a trusted commercial advisor to customers and internal leadership.

- Mentor and support junior sales or commercial team members as applicable.

- Represent Nabors professionally at industry events, customer forums, and technical reviews.

- Act with strong financial discipline, ethics, and accountability in all commercial activities.
