Lone Star is hiring a high-performance inside sales operator to help drive customer responsiveness, order flow, and day-to-day execution across the business.
This role sits at the center of the action. You will be involved where customer requests, quotes, sales orders, production priorities, shipping, and follow-through all come together. When this role is strong, customers are taken care of, opportunities keep moving, orders stay visible, and the team has the information needed to execute.
This is not a passive desk role. It is for someone who brings energy, communicates quickly, follows up without being asked, and takes pride in keeping work moving.

You will sit at the front line of customer interaction and order flow, helping ensure work moves from inquiry to quote to order to delivery without breakdowns.
- Responding quickly to inbound customer requests, RFQs, and order inquiries
- Entering sales orders accurately and making sure order details are complete before work moves forward
- Creating packing slips and supporting shipping documentation to help ensure orders leave correctly and on time
- Coordinating with production, purchasing, inspection, packaging, and shipping to keep order delivery and shipment on track
- Supporting quoting efforts and following up to move opportunities forward
- Keeping communication tight between customers, production, and purchasing
- Ensuring orders are entered accurately and move forward without delay
- Staying on top of open quotes, pending orders, and customer follow-ups
- Identifying gaps, delays, or risks early and pushing them to resolution
You will also support purchasing and order execution as needed to keep work moving, but this is a customer-facing, momentum-driving role first.
