Industrial Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, structures, and systems in our facilities.

Duties:

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.

must have basic tools Metric and standard anything above 36mm or 1 7/8 inch will be provided.

follow safety protocols ,including proper handling of chemicals and adherence to lockout/tag out procedures.

safely transition between hot cold wet environments. this includes being able to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions

work safely in confined spaces and at various heights using appropriate safety equipment.

use metric measuring tools accurately and perform basic mechanical tasks.

work flexible hours ,including, nights ,weekends ,and overtime as needed. be available for on call shifts at LEAST one week per month

follow and complete written work orders supervisors and write out work orders as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification or a associate degree in mechanical or industrial maintenance is preferred.

- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently

- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals

- Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus

- Proficiency in welding a plus

-must be able to lift 50lbs

- Strong leadership skills to guide maintenance projects effectively

- Capability to communicate effectively in English
