Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Industrial Mechanic

to join our

weekend day shift

team. This is a permanent, full-time position from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.

What you’re responsible for:

- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignments, and servicing of various equipment, including:

- Conveyor

- Grinder

- Shredder

- Vibrating table

- Hydraulic system

- Press

- Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures.

- Inspect for wear, repair, or replace defective parts, components, or systems.

- Test repaired equipment to verify performance and ensure compliance.

- Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.

- Carry out installation and upgrades of new machines or equipment.

- Complete work orders and follow up as necessary.

- Ensure proper use and operation of company equipment.

- Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions, detected issues, or time overruns.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

- Work safely and in compliance with health & safety (SST) policies and company procedures.

- Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications

To join our team:

- Strong experience in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses.

- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

- Skilled in testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards.

- Ability to collaborate on problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.

- Knowledge of safety protocols, including workplace cleanliness, compliance with health & safety (SST) regulations, and safe work practices.

Additional Information

- Permanent position, full-time

- Day schedule: Friday to Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.

- Overtime after 40 hours
