Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Support the Manufacturing Production Team to execute our KPI's: Safety first, Quality above Delivery, Inventory, and Cost.
- Lead process optimization and equipment layout improvements to boost efficiency in assembly, testing, and shipping.
- Develop manufacturing procedures, standard work, and tooling concepts for repeatability and cost reduction.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks by collaborating with design engineering, quality, and production teams.
- Monitor key metrics (OEE, quality, cycle time) and implement corrective actions.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
- Create and maintain training materials and work instructions for technicians and operators.
- Standardize processes across product lines for consistency and knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing process development or industrial engineering.- Strong knowledge of process flow, equipment layout, and work standardization.
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume, or engineered-to-order environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles; Green Belt preferred.
- Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the U.S.
