Industrial Engineering Specialist

The Industrial Engineering Specialist improves safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance by applying Lean methods and data-driven process engineering. The role develops optimized layouts, standard work, production tools, and digital solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency, support operational excellence, and reduce variation across Badger’s production environments.

RESPONSIBILITES

What You'll Be Doing:

- Analyzes and improves manufacturing processes, layouts, and material flow to enhance safety, quality, throughput, and productivity.

- Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of property, facilities, equipment, and workstations to support efficient production operations.

- Defines work center structure, labor standards, and process time allocations for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.

- Assists in the digitalization of production data by supporting the selection of hardware and software solutions and developing performance dashboards for real-time visibility and decision support.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Need For Success:

- Education in manufacturing, industrial, or related engineering degree from an accredited university or institute.

- 4+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.

- CAD experience including layouts and standardized drafting practices.
