This role supports field engineering, asset verification, and documentation updates for an active facility. The Field Engineer will be responsible for verifying instrumentation and electrical documentation, updating drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring audit readiness in compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate consolidation and updates of Cause & Effect diagrams across multiple project phases
- Conduct field verification activities to ensure alignment between existing documentation and conditions
- Interact with project and engineering teams to ensure compliance with established standards
- Prepare documentation and systems for audit readiness
- Update remaining control panel drawings, ensuring all inputs and outputs are accurately captured
- Revise CAD files and update associated PDF documentation
- Remove Emergency Shutdown (ESD) push button references from panel drawings as required
- Perform electrical field verification of one-line diagrams for the facility
- Verify and confirm naming consistency across documentation for PDCs, MCCs, and VFDs
- Experience as an I&C Field Engineer, Instrument Engineer, or similar role
- Background in asset verification and field documentation updates
- Ability to read, interpret, and update engineering drawings and diagrams
- Familiarity with CAD systems and technical documentation control
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field
- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline
