Overview:
Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position will assist in recruitment, onboarding, compliance and data entry. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and detail-oriented, with a passion for supporting employees and improving HR processes. This position will start training in our Tulsa, OK facility and will move to our Claremore, OK facility later this year.
Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
· Support employee relations by addressing basic inquiries and escalating complex issues to HR Manager.
· Help organize and implement employee engagement initiatives and events.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
· Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
· Assist in the performance review and training processes.
· Coordinate benefits enrollment and answer employee benefits questions.
· Assist with special projects and/or administrative tasks as needed.
· Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing, and expediting orders.
· Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face in an appropriate and courteous manner.
· Assist in bi-weekly payroll processing and cover duties as back-up, if needed.
· High school diploma or GED required, associates degree or higher preferred.
· 1–3 years of previous HR experience required.
· Understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
· High attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, experience with UKG preferred.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
· Conflict Resolution: Ability to mediate and resolve workplace issues tactfully and professionally.
· Time Management: Capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines with efficiency and minimal supervision.
· Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
· Technology Savvy: Familiarity with digital tools for HR communication, training, and recordkeeping.

Supervisor Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment. When in the manufacturing facility, all employees are required to wear personal protective equipment to include/hearing protection, and safety glasses with side shields, and OSHA compliant safety boots/shoes.

While performing duties of this job, the person in this position might remain stationary for long periods of time, while operating a computer and other office machinery. This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets and operate office machinery.
The employee might occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.
On occasion, the employee may be required to visit the shop that is a non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles that are usually associated with metal fabrication shops.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Travel:
Travel is not required for this position.
