Job Location: Fort McMurray - Gregoire Office
Full cycle recruitment supporting multiple companies and projects. Recruitment requests range from entry level positions to technical job positions.
- Post, collect and screen resumes for vacant positions.
- Conduct pre-screen interviews and formal interviews.
- Check prospective employee references.
- Send offer letters and onboarding requirements to selected candidates.
- Track the status of candidates throughout the onboarding process and respond with follow-up as required.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Recommend new policies and procedures for company improvements and organizational efficiencies.
- Assist with processing of contract amendments and terminations.
- Understanding of current pay structures and training requirements.
- Prepare and maintain new employee files.
- Request, file papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
- Ensure employee Workhub accounts are updated accordingly.
- Track and communicate Workhub compliance levels with employees/managers throughout employees employment.
- Track performance reviews.
- Provide general information and assistance internally and externally over the phone, electronically and in person.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Certificate in Human Resources Management required or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Experience in high volume recruiting preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as required.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal skills.
- Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy.
- Knowledge of principles, theories, and techniques related to recruitment and job descriptions.
- Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Teams/Share point required.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Ability to use general office equipment.
- Professional appearance and manners.
