As a member of the People are Why team, the Human Resources Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations with a specific focus on benefits, compensation, compliance, partnerships, payroll, and systems. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes, maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating HR systems and reporting, and providing administrative support across various HR functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate the ordering and accurate completion of Form I-9s and other onboarding documentation, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal procedures.
- Coordinate benefits billing processes, including reconciliation and vendor communication.
- Monitor and support HR-related financial transactions, including tracking departmental expenses, processing and reconciling invoices.
- Maintain and update sensitive employee data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Serve as a resource for employees by responding to inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Manage the HR inbox, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Assist with HR compliance initiatives by maintaining documentation, tracking regulatory requirements, and supporting audits and internal reviews.
- Process employment verifications and respond to related requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and execute HR initiatives and projects.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the HR team and organizational goals.
- Experience with data analysis and HR reporting tools.
- Familiarity with compliance and audit processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and set and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Prioritize and exercise judgment to accomplish goals while acting with a sense of urgency.
- Successfully accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communicate effectively in verbal, written and electronic communication.
- Proactively identify issues and solutions with support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations or administrative support.- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.

- This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
