The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all site-level HR functions and serving as a trusted advisor to plant leadership and employees. This position oversees recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefit administration while promoting a workplace culture consistent with our values and operational priorities.
This is a Regular, Full-Time, Exempt position. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional additional hours to support operational or employee needs.
- Serve as the primary HR business partner for the plant, ensuring alignment of HR programs with company goals.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention for hourly and salaried employees.
- Maintain job descriptions, organizational charts, and HR documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Support leaders in performance management, employee relations, and corrective action, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Conduct and document workplace investigations; partner with corporate HR on escalated matters.
- Oversee employee benefits, leaves of absence, and annual enrollment communication.
- Partner with management on workforce planning, succession, and engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate training, development, and compliance programs to support a safe, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support compensation reviews, pay adjustments, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure HR records, personnel files, and system data are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Act as a cultural ambassador, modeling integrity, accountability, and teamwork.
- May supervise HR Coordinator, Recruiter, or other administrative support roles as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance (multi-state preferred).
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
- Proven ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
