We need an HR Manager to handle all people-related tasks for our business. You will onboard new employees, solve workplace problems, ensure safety compliance, and help our team succeed. This job requires being on-site every day.
- Onboard production employees, drivers, salespeople, and other staff
- Work with supervisors to plan staffing needs
- Help management interview candidates and check references
- Train new employees on safety and company policies
- Connect with local job agencies and schools for candidates
- Handle employee questions and concerns
- Solve workplace conflicts
- Create programs to recognize good work
- Help employees with career development
- Teach safety rules and procedures
- Keep training records up to date
- Handle workplace accidents and insurance claims
- Make sure we follow OSHA rules
- Arrange forklift training when needed
- Manage employee pay and benefits alongside the management team
- Research local pay rates to stay competitive
- Help employees understand their benefits
- Handle workers' compensation claims
- Keep employee files organized
- Update company policies
- Track safety and turnover numbers
- Follow employment laws
- Handle performance reviews and disciplinary actions- 5+ years of HR experience
