We are currently looking for a HardBanding Operator for our Broussard, TX facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality hardbanding operations on various components, ensuring durability and precision. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical knowledge, and attention to detail to maintain product integrity and meet production standards.

· Ensure the selected surfaces of BHA products are adequately prepared for the application of HardBanding wear coating(s).

· Pre-heat the product surfaces by warming application torches prior to the application of tungsten carbide pellets

· Operate hardbanding equipment inclusive of setting and operating the HardBanding unit.

· Troubleshooting of the HardBanding machine, operation, and auxiliary equipment to ensure expected work product production.

· Grind old HardBanding materials and prepare tubular product surfaces per the Company and/or statutory requirements.

· Conduct quality inspections of finished work to verify proper application and surface integrity.

· Complete and maintain required work orders and required records.

· Perform required equipment maintenance and complete and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance sheets.

· May be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above

Qualifications

· Two (2) years related experience with downhole drilling equipment

· A general understanding of Oil Country Tubular Goods

· Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment operation and maintenance.

· Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.

· Able to work safely and productively with minimal supervision and always have essential attentiveness to general surroundings.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
