Band Saw Operator

Position Summary:

The Saw Operator will safely operate band saw cutting equipment, ensuring quality control throughout the production process with squareness and cut length measurements. This position involves material handling and requires a high level of attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow and close out work orders accurately.

- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.

- Record quality data in workbooks and submit detailed reports for each job.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

- Strong mechanical skills

- Solid math skills

- Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions accurately

- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
