Generator Sales Specialist

POWERPRO SERVICE CO INC. is a family owned and operated full-service Generator Set sales and service provider. We are Long Island’s leading generator company.

We are seeking a Generator Sales Specialist. This is a full-time position focused on growing our business within our Eastern Suffolk County territory. When not in the field conducting site visits or prospecting, you will be located in our headquarters in Bohemia, NY. As a Generator Sales Expert at POWERPRO SERVICE CO INC., you will be responsible for learning the features and benefits of the generator products we market, providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through the process of selecting the best generator solutions for their needs. You will conduct in-field site visits to assess the customers’ needs, determine what services will be required to complete the project, manage company supplied leads, developing relationships with contractors, electricians, property managers and other trades that lead to self-generated leads/sales, present generator features and benefits effectively, provide timely and effective written proposals, over-coming objections, handling sales transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

- Strong presentation skills

- Proficiency in On-Site Sales techniques

- Excellent Communication skills to convey product details clearly and effectively.

- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

- Prior experience in a sales role is required, home services, contractors, electrical and/or mechanical sectors would be advantageous.

- Experience with project management

- Experience working with different townships and obtaining permits

- Familiarity with generator products and/or related technologies is a plus.

- Some college and/or trade school preferred.

- Experience with CRM tools

- Must have reliable transportation and the willingness to meet with leads/potential clients in the evenings, early morning or weekends as required.

Compensation

- Base salary + commission. Opportunity to earn 100k+
