Your impact

You will help maintain accurate and reliable financial data by processing transactions, supporting reconciliations, and contributing to financial close activities. Your work ensures financial records remain consistent, compliant, and ready for reporting and audit requirements

As part of our team, you will

- Process high-volume daily financial transactions. Support reconciliations of statements and the General Ledger.

- Maintain accurate and consistent financial records.

- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

- Prepare and provide information required for internal audits.

- Review and assess financial information as needed to support accounting activities

Prerequisites for your success in this role

- Degree or technical qualification in Accounting or Business Administration.

- Advanced English level (B2+ At least)

- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.

- Experience or developing proficiency in SAP accounting modules and accounting systems such as Hyperion.

- Understanding journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial close processes.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.

- Ability to process information, follow procedures, and apply practical judgment to solve problems

Your work environment

- You will be part of Newmont’s Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Costa Rica, working within the Corporate function.

- You will work as part of a collaborative finance team where clear communication, continuous improvement, and accountability are valued. Team members are encouraged to ask questions, provide feedback, and contribute ideas to improve processes and deliver quality results.

- While the position is intended to be hybrid, as we establish our foundation, we will begin on-site to foster strong relationships, align our strategies, and ensure a solid framework for long-term success.

- For this role, there are both day and night shift options available.

- Compensation will be aligned with the local Costa Rican market and paid in Costa Rican colones (CRC).
