The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a wide variety of service related activities including implementation, operation, maintenance of various product lines. People management responsibilities include training, planning and assigning daily work, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
Primary responsibilities are inclusive, but not limited to the items listed below.
- Project Management: Primarily lead and manage MPD, RCD, and I&E service projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support for MPD operations, including system design, installation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Client Relationship Management: Collaborate with clients to understand their MPD requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of MPD service technicians and engineers, providing mentorship, training, and guidance to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor MPD operations on drilling rigs, ensuring compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance programs for MPD equipment, including regular inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of MPD operations, including reports, performance metrics, and service records.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement in MPD operations.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote and enforce HSE practices to ensure a safe working environment for MPD service personnel and rig crews.
- Coordinate with appropriate designated groups for receipt of materials.
- Comply with all Stasis drilling Solutions Company, departmental and HSE procedures and policies.
- Participate in operational meetings as required.
- Communicate with sales/ service to forecast upcoming field equipment demands
- Escalate issues and potential resolutions to as appropriate.
- Perform other work-related tasks as required as assigned.
- Perform work such that a perpetual state of audit readiness is maintained.
- Ensure best practices for maintenance of equipment is being followed.
- Responsible for site achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and managing resources and processes required to do so.
- Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001:2015 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS Objectives.

- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent field experience with MPD operations
- Technical Skills: Proficient understanding of MPD principles, technologies, and equipment. Knowledge of drilling operations, well control, and pressure management.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team and coordinate with clients, contractors, and rig personnel.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues during MPD operations.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at various levels.
- Safety Focus: In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and practices in the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong commitment to safety.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Project Management: Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
