Field Safety Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our safety protocols within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks associated with workplace hazards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate safety standards to all employees.

Duties

- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA regulations and industry standards.

- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.

- Oversee occupational health programs, ensuring compliance with NEC and workers' compensation requirements.

- Provide training sessions for employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure that safety measures are integrated into project planning and execution.

- Monitor construction sites for compliance with safety regulations and conduct inspections to ensure adherence to EHS standards.

- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance audits.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding safety inspections and compliance issues.

Skills

- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.

- Knowledge of occupational health standards and regulations.

- Familiarity with NEC codes related to electrical safety.

- Proficient in workers' compensation processes and claims management.

- Experience with OSHA regulations and compliance management.

- Background in construction management with hands-on construction site experience.

- Proficient in using construction management software for tracking safety metrics.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey safety information across all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $69,491.20 - $83,688.34 per year
