Job Description: Safety Manager

Position Summary: The Safety Manager plays a key role in promoting a strong safety culture across construction projects through proactive leadership, field presence, and technical expertise. This position is split between field operations and office responsibilities (approximately 50/50 split), ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supporting continuous improvement, and reducing risk across the organization. The Safety Manager works closely with field crews, project teams, and senior leadership to prevent injuries, drive regulatory compliance, and apply human performance principles in daily operations.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, or related field. + 4–5 years of experience in construction safety management. + In-depth knowledge of OSHA Construction and DOT regulations.

+ Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels. + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. + Proven experience building trust and engagement with field personnel. + Skilled in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ELD/telematics systems.

+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. + Ability to travel 50–60% of the time to jobsite locations. + Physically able to work on active construction sites and perform field inspections as needed.

Pay Range: $100,000-115,000

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Hybrid, Traveling Role & On-site
